So I visited the service centre, they plugged the monitor in and I showed them in person where the dead pixel is (I mentioned the location of the dead pixel in my request) and they noticed it too and were confused why the technician didnt fix it. So I did that and more time passed and nothing got fixed. They told me to send the unit back to them, they would look into it again. I contacted the service centre, which is in charge of repairments for samsung products. After I received my monitor, which still has the pixel issue. Apparently no issues were found and nothing got replaced/fixed within the monitor. Time passed and I ve received new information regarding that dead pixel. So I ve decided to contact the customer service and they told me to sent back the monitor for diagnosis. Every time I look at that monitor I instantly see the dead pixel. Once I noticed the issue, I couldnt see over it. After some testing I have noticed a dead pixel on the monitor, which was not there before (issue came with the panel). The monitor got repaired, the panel and some other internal things were replaced, it didnt fix the issue entirely but made it much better. After a couple of weeks, my monitor arrived back to me, with the issue "fixed". After receiving my brand new G7,I noticed the flickering issue with turned on gsync, so I decided to send back the monitor. The monitor looked very promising and the reviews are promising, so I thought why not and I needed to upgrade my monitor anyway. Around 3 months ago I purchased the new samsung odyssey g7 monitor.
